12. Brewing barley malt – beer: trends of development in Ukraine and the world

Abstract
The paper investigates the features of the global brewing market development, trends in the global beer production, considering the dynamic changes in key parameters of production, consumption, exports, imports by major geographical segments of the world market in order to substantiate prospective targets of Ukraine’s mission in the global beer production. Comperative indices of raw materials quality in Ukraine and the world are assessed, problems of raw materials procument common for a number of countries that are Achilles’ heel of national beer industries, especially for countries with transitional economies, are analyzed.The formation of the world Ukrainian brewing mission and growing rivalry in the global market demand changes and modernization of public sector policy coordination, the main building blocks of what should be the implementation of effective measures to promote exports of domestic brewing products, create a transparent investment climate and legal protection of investments, elimination of excessive interference and organizational pressure aimed directly at the economic agents of the brewing market.
