The main tasks of the department:

• Determination, implementation and coordination of the organization and management of accounting and budgeting of the Institute.
• Organization of the preparation of accounting reports and reports to the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, the State Treasury Department and the State Fiscal Service of the Dniprovskyi District of Kyiv.
• Control of the accounting of receipts and expenses according to estimated assignments for general and special funds.
• Monitoring of the effective use of material, labor and financial resources.
• Compilation of the Institute's balance sheet (fixed assets and other assets, stocks and costs, cash, calculations, income, expenses).
• Measures to prevent inventory and fixed assets deficiencies, violations of financial and economic legislation.
• Participationin planning and economic analysis of the economic and financial activities of the Institute.
