Academic integrity

     Academic integrity is a set of ethical principles and rules defined by law that must be followed by
participants in the educational process during learning, teaching and carrying out scientific
(creative) activities in order to ensure trust in the results of studies and/or scientific (creative)
achievements (Article 42 of the Law of Ukraine "On Education").

Adherence to academic integrity.

The Institute of Food Resources of the National Academy of Sciences strictly adheres to the
principles of academic integrity in scientific and scientific-pedagogical activities. Academic
integrity is ensured by:

• popularization within the framework of thematic lectures, round tables, seminars, trainings
and other educational events;
• introduction of relevant thematic lectures into the educational and scientific programs of
training of doctors of philosophy;
• checks for academic plagiarism and other types of violation of academic integrity of
scientific works of employees and students of higher education;
• development and implementation of the relevant internal legal framework.
