Abstract
The objective of the article is to study peculiarities of dairy market development in Ukraine under current conditions and in the future. The production of milk is an important branch of agricultural production. A negative effect on development of the dairy market is done by deficiency of raw material and its low quality. Electing the suppliers of raw milk-material to the enterprisers it is needed to pay attention on such key factors, as: cows’ keeping, their feeding, existent system of raw material collection and its storage, condition of dairy-raw material transporting on milk processing enterprises. Production and processing of really quality milk, especially milk of “extra” sort, continues to grow. Taking into account the integration of Ukraine into EU, it is necessary to understand, that the domestic market of milk and dairy products tests structural changes. Opening of borders and state’s support limitation of domestic producers envisages the increase of import products’ volumes to Ukraine that substantially will sharpen competitive activity of milk processing enterprises for their consumers. From year to year, there is a tendency of quality indexes improvement, which accordingly positively influences on quality of ready-to-use products and will assist the increase of possibility of export activity realization. It is determined that Ukraine has great prospects in the field of dairy products export. The authors estimate the prospects of the development of dairy market due to modern world tendencies. To increase production and export of dairy products, milk-processing enterprises of Ukraine should sufficiently improve parameters of dairy products quality, expand the variety of products according to the tastes and preferences of the population, and implement modern technological processes
