Abstract
The subject of the study is a set of theoretical, methodological and applied aspects of identifying the consequences of the development of the food complex of Ukraine in conditions of increasing turbulence. Goal. To generalize the peculiarities of the food complex in the conditions of periodic agrarian crises and intensification of turbulence, to substantiate the theoretical and methodological principles and to develop recommendations of practical content aimed at strengthening its stability. Methods. The research was based on general and special methods: abstract logic, retrospective analysis and comparison – to form a conceptual and categorical apparatus of research, study of turbulent phenomena and processes and consequences of agrarian crises on the development of primary production and food industry; system analysis and criterion, structuring and identification – for the development of architecture and periodization of transformational transformations that took place in the food complex under the influence of agrarian crises; formalization, analysis and synthesis – to assess various changes in the components of structural formation and their impact on the functioning of the food complex in conditions of intensified turbulence; systematization of approaches to the assessment of changes in the food complex after the exit of the agricultural sector from the transformational recession, etc. Results. The peculiarities of the development of agriculture and food industry after overcoming the transformational decline are revealed, the specifics of their functioning in crisis years and inter-crisis periods are revealed. Problems and miscalculations that slow down the development of the food complex and reduce its sustainability are systematized. Practical measures are substantiated, the implementation of which is aimed at strengthening the stability of the food complex in conditions of intensifying turbulence. Scope of research results. The results of research include theoretical and methodological principles of development of food industries after the "bottom" of the transformational recession, crisis years and inter-crisis periods, which expand knowledge about the circumstances and processes of the agricultural sector in turbulent conditions. The obtained results can be used both to deepen theoretical studies of food sustainability and in practical terms on areas and measures of regulatory, investment and economic nature in order to strengthen internal cross-sectoral ties and "strength threshold" for external threats.
