28. PRIORITY DIRECTIONS OF THE STATE STRATEGIC POLICY OF ANIMAL HUSBANDRY DEVELOPMENT IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The subject of the research is the priority directions of the state strategic policy of animal husbandry development in Ukraine. The purpose of the work is to investigate the priority directions of the state strategic policy of animal husbandry development in Ukraine and to determine their efficiency. Applied methods: system generalization, comparison, analysis and synthesis, analytical. Research results. The article analyzes the national development strategies of Ukraine from the declaration of independence to the present. It was determined what place in these strategies was given to the food industry and animal husbandry. The main directions of the state strategic policy of animal husbandry development in Ukraine were analyzed. The result of the implementation of the national project "Revived Livestock" and the effect of the introduction of a special regime of value added tax and direct state subsidies for livestock in Ukraine were assessed. The main reasons that became an obstacle to the realization of the goals defined by the strategies and programs of animal husbandry development in Ukraine were identified. Scope of application of research results. The results are intended for specialists in food and processing industries, specialists of authorities, scientists, teachers, post-graduate students and students of higher educational establishments. The research results has a scientific and practical value and can serve as a source of background information on the real state of the results of the state strategic policy of animal husbandry development in Ukraine and be the basis for further research and decision-making on state support for food and animal husbandry development.
